Haugmere Sauna
Fictional lakeside public sauna
Sauna site with temperature and capacity for 3 rooms, lake water temperature, booking for 64 weekly sessions and a planner
How it was made
A public wood-fired sauna on the east shore of Haug Mere, a fictional lake.
Laid out with full-bleed photo sections and an asymmetric 12-column grid.
Five colors taken from the average colors of the photos change the background with scroll position. Each transition takes 600ms.
Typefaces are Gloock and Familjen Grotesk. Temperatures, fees and times are set in large serif numerals.
The 64 sessions can be filtered by day, type and time slot. Booking calculates the fee from headcount and rentals.
The planner turns booked sessions into a clock-time schedule and shows spare or overrun minutes.
