How it was made
After receiving a drawing, a manufacturing site splits it into processes and prepares numerical control (NC) work data for each one.
METACAM was built to bring this preparation into one screen.
Enter a drawing and manufacturing conditions in the workspace and split the processes, and NC data candidates appear for each process.
The review screen shows the verification status, source text and toolpath for each candidate. There are also project, tool, drawing revision and quote menus.
Scope ends at machining review. There is no machine transfer or machining approval, and fitness for actual production has not yet been confirmed.
