HALF-REST
STUDIO OFF-BEAT recreation
Recreation of a photo and video studio site in 149 pages, with an intro sequence and 3-group filter
How it was made
The original is a photo studio that shoots portraits, brand projects and stage performances.
The home page lists work as gold 72px names. The background color changes as you scroll to show the category you are viewing.
The most effort went into the first three screens of the home page. Logo letters, a metronome photo, and a plant photo with a slanted rising sentence follow in sequence.
Order and timing measured from the original were matched within ±100ms.
The blotchy list background was a single WebGL noise shader in the original. A canvas 2D noise gives the same result.
44 portrait detail pages and 95 work detail pages were generated from data.
