How it was made
The original home is a single screen with no scrolling. Scrolling the wheel shrinks the page to 0.445x and 4 category cards rise up.
The most effort went into the category hero. A 273px square photo stays fixed and grows to 1440×990.
All photos in the diagonal slider are one size, 711×460. They are only pushed up or down the farther they are from the center.
The four category pages share one frame with only one color changed. The recreation also built the four pages from a single color variable.
If you keep scrolling at the end, a ring fills over about 2.4 seconds and then moves on to the next category.
