Thrumley Removals
Removals and storage company
Removals company site that turns an inventory into volume, van, crew and the day's price, with an assistant that drafts the quote
How it was made
A removals and storage company in Caddonford, a fictional town. One big number on each page shows that page's answer.
The assistant is rule-based and answers only from the site's tables. It opens as a right-hand panel, or a bottom sheet on phones.
Adding up 37 items gives a total in m³, and same-scale van side views fill to match. Pasted lists are read into a table too.
The quote totals volume, distance, floors and date, and links each line to the price table. It sets the cheapest date, earliest date and a van alternative side by side.
A 12-column asymmetric grid uses a neutral background and one deep teal, #0F5F5C. Typefaces are Encode Sans and Host Grotesk.
build.mjs generates the 10 pages and data files. The page and the generator share one file for calculations and sentence parsing.
