How it was made
The original is a creative director's portfolio. It won Site of the Day along with the Developer Award.
Background and text colours read at 22 times by dragging the original clock are interpolated. The visitor's local time sets the colour.
Dragging the clock handle changes the time and colours together. Arrow keys move it 15 minutes at a time and Esc resets it.
The preloader reveals 4 photos in turn, then spreads them out. Home and archive are endless horizontal strips moved by wheel and drag.
MENU lines up the current page and the other two like magazine covers. The contact modal has Client and Talent tabs.
Original videos were replaced with photos and boards drawn in CSS. The typeface is Inter Tight and all client names are fictional.
