Tillman's Files
Mosby's Files recreation
11-page recreation of an American modernist architect archive with index-tab folders and a scrapbook
How it was made
The original shows 8 architects as a stack of folders with index tabs. Flipping through the folders matches the archive theme.
The depth comes from a single rule of tilting the folders by 3 degrees. We hovered the 8 tabs in turn, extracted the coordinates and matched them to the original.
Clicking a tab drops the other folders and raises the clicked one. This 1.3-second transition is carried over with the original's timing and curve.
A case page is a scrapbook of photos and clips bound to a single note. The pieces can be dragged around.
Scrolling to the end moves on to the next architect. If the wheel pauses, the progress empties, so it never advances by accident.
