Yeongwi Framing Studio

How it was made

A framing and hanji mounting studio in an alley of Damgyeol-dong, a fictional neighborhood. Yeongwi is a joint made by cutting wood ends at 45° and fitting them together.

Every page background is a dark green wall (#1E3A32). Frame photos and diagrams hang on a hanging line at true proportions.

The menu sits in a baseboard band at the bottom of the screen. Colors are off-white and a single brass. Typefaces are Diphylleia and Gowun Dodum.

The frame calculator gives outer dimensions, weight and price from artwork size, mat, molding and glass. Completion dates are counted excluding Sundays.

Moldings are filtered by material, tone and width, and section dimensions are shown in a sample dialog.

Nail height and load by wall material are also calculated. Results carry over to the order form.
